Lvi-Associates in Portland, OR seeks a Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction to support delivery of infrastructure projects across the Portland metro area. You will work with project managers and field teams on transportation, earthwork, utility, and bridge projects.

Qualifications

• Experience on heavy civil construction projects.
• Exposure to roadway, highway, bridge, utility, excavation, or earthwork projects.
• Experience supporting project managers, field engineers, or superintendents.
• Familiarity with project scheduling and cost tracking.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of heavy civil infrastructure projects throughout the Portland metro area and surrounding regions. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced project managers and field teams on impactful transportation, earthwork, utility, excavation, and infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate will be eager to develop their construction management career while gaining exposure to all phases of project execution, from preconstruction through closeout.

• Understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.

Qualifications Required

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 1-5+ years of construction experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced project environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to visit project sites as needed.
