Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace is seeking a Project Engineer to lead complex programs across multiple US sites. You will plan, coordinate and manage schedules, costs and resources while aligning with aerospace standards and customer requirements.

Your engineering and leadership skills will guide cross-functional teams through design, manufacturing and testing to deliver innovative aerospace solutions. You will monitor progress, assess risks, review technical documents and support change management.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or having completed a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field.
• Graduation between Aug 2026 and May 2027 and availability to start full-time from Sep 2026 to Jul 2027.
• Must obtain degree within 12 months of start date.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Project Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will play a critical role in the planning, coordination, and management of complex projects that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various segments of the business. You will work within cross-functional teams on cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses operate. Your expertise in engineering, project management, and technical leadership will be instrumental in shaping the future of technology and industry solutions. In this role, you will impact the development and implementation of advanced projects at various stages. You will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends that you will apply to address complex engineering challenges and provide solutions that meet or exceed the required technical standards for your customers. Project engineers are responsible for the scope, cost, and schedule of a particular engineering project.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Manage technical deliverables and ensure compliance with customer specifications and aerospace standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including design, manufacturing, quality, procurement, and testing.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks, delays, or technical issues.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Support design reviews, risk assessments, and change management processes.

Location: This position is available in multiple locations across the United States. The exact worksite location will be selected based on business requirements and the candidate’s relevant experience and qualifications.

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,000/year-$105,800/year. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell Aerospace considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in an Engineering discipline or similar field
• Must have graduated or graduating from an accredited college or university between August 2026 and May 2027 and be available to begin full‑time work between September 2026-July 2027
• Must have obtained degree within 12 months of the start date
