The primary role of the Project Engineer is to assist the Project Manager and Project Team with the planning and daily execution of the construction project. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including project managers, technicians, and contractors, to ensure the successful implementation of solar energy systems. Your expertise in solar engineering, project management, and renewable energy technologies will be essential to the company's mission of advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Planning and Job Set Up: Participate in project hand-off meetings and pre-construction meetings. Assist with project setup in Viewpoint/Pvault/Procore, including drawing logs, contact lists, submittal logs, and other project documentation.
  2. Assist with buyout, execution of contracts, site mobilization, and resource planning.
  3. Project Execution: Maintain logs, oversee inspections, review subcontractor compliance, participate in meetings, and assist in resource and schedule management.
  4. Monitoring and reporting: Assist with daily cost tracking, progress photos, and change order preparations.
  5. Project Close Out: Support demobilization, ensure completion of as-built drawings, and coordinate operation and maintenance manuals.
  6. Stakeholder Relationships: Communicate effectively with all project stakeholders, maintaining professionalism and positive relationships.
  7. Miscellaneous Duties: Follow safety policies, participate in training, and perform additional tasks as assigned.
  8. Minimum of 1 year of experience preferred. A bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Viewpoint, and Procore is required. Ability to read blueprints, manage budgets, and understand contracts is essential. Extensive travel may be required depending on project location.
