Job summary

B&T USA is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to lead engineering projects from concept through production. The role focuses on SolidWorks modeling, design for manufacturability, and firearms design knowledge to drive reliable products.

You will collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams; lead design reviews; perform tolerance analyses and FEA; and document specifications and timelines. On-site at Herriman, Utah.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• Proficient in SolidWorks with strong 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
• Experience managing projects from concept to production.
• In-depth knowledge of firearms design and functionality.
• Strong understanding of DFM principles and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to optimize resources.
• Effective communication for technical discussions.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from design to production launch.
• Develop 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks.
• Apply DFM to optimize manufacturability.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain.
• Lead design reviews and implement feedback.
• Conduct tolerance analysis, FEA, and material selection.
• Troubleshoot design and manufacturing issues.
• Prepare documentation: specs, reports, timelines.
