Job summary

Camfil USA Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to lead planning, organization, and completion of engineering projects for Washington/Greenville products and production support.

The role analyzes design requirements, provides technical information on manufacturing processes, and collaborates with engineering and production teams to implement design changes that boost performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Engineering.
• 2 years of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD Design Software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and etc.).
• Must have above average reading comprehension, writing and oral communication skills.
• Technical math required.
• Must have strong reasoning ability.
• Requires an organized approach to working, task prioritization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes specifications and performance requirements to determine design and/or design changes needed to meet customer order requirements.
• Provides technical information concerning manufacturing or processing techniques, materials, properties, and process advantages and limitations.
• Clarify or resolve problems and develop design changes to increase product performance or production efficiency.
• Prepares all associated documents, detailed drawings/schematics for customers and manufacturing.
• Confers with other engineering / production personnel and prepares design modifications as required.
• Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary.
