Job summary

Qualifications

Associates degree in Engineering.
2 years related experience preferred.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD Design Software.
Strong reading comprehension, writing and oral communication.
Technical math required.
Must have organized approach and good time management.
Must be able to sit and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

Analyzes specifications and performance requirements to determine design changes.
Provides technical information concerning manufacturing techniques and materials.
Clarify or resolve problems and develop design changes to improve product performance.
Prepares drawings and schematics for customers and manufacturing.
Confer with engineering/production personnel and prepare design modifications; handle special projects.
