Job summary

E-Z Bel Construction, LLC is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Manager and Superintendent. You will manage project documentation, coordinate field and office workflows, and maintain schedule, cost, and quantity data to improve reliability and profitability.

Responsibilities include RFIs, submittals, and preconstruction packages, drawing logs, and turnover assistance. Strong communication and organization are essential, with a Texas driver's license and bilingual English/Spanish

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in construction science/management/engineering or related field.
• Entry-level to 3+ years of construction or infrastructure experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, HCSS/HeavyJob; able to learn scheduling and cost-control tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare RFIs, submittals, subcontract documents, and preconstruction packages for PM review.
• Maintain job files, drawing logs, current plan sets, and digital project repositories.
• Assist PM with preconstruction turnover, procurement planning, and contract review.
• Track production quantities, cost codes, and job performance using HCSS/HeavyJob and Excel.
• Assist with preparing monthly pay estimates, verifying quantities, and reviewing tickets.
