Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Field/Project Engineer to support industrial EPC projects across the Midwest. The role focuses on field operations, drawing interpretation, safety, quality, and timely execution of projects from site to office controls.

Regular relocation may be required to participate in diverse projects including power, data centers, or solar installations. The position offers full-time employment with relocation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • Demonstrated interest in safety and quality on construction projects.
  • Ability to read drawings, specifications and 3D models to guide field crews.

Responsibilities

  • Field Operations: interpret drawings/specifications/3D models for field crews and craft, prepare work plans and work packages, audit operations for safety compliance, order and schedule material deliveries, track installation progress, perform quality inspections and submit test records.
  • Office Engineering: maintain project controls including client report development and schedule updates, generate change orders reviewed by project management, supervise subcontractor operations, support site logistics, coordinate design and procurement interface.
  • Estimating: review and analyze data relative to the project, perform quantity takeoffs from drawings, complete plans and specification reviews for projects, assist with the preparation of a bid]

Division Overview

Kokosing\'s Industrial Division is offering an exciting opportunity to work on diverse, complex engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) projects ranging from power generation facilities to other process industries. Responsibilities
