Job summary

Hoffman Construction Company in Tempe, AZ is seeking a seasoned construction professional to lead field coordination and interface with area managers, design teams, subcontractors, and clients on multidiscipline projects. You will interpret drawings, quantify materials, and ensure accurate submittals and RFIs while coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP elements.

Required coursework includes a civil/ME/EE or construction-related degree and a strong background in construction documents,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent field experience.

Responsibilities

• Run meetings with area managers, design team, subcontractors, and client representatives.
• Interface between area managers and subcontractors to resolve field coordination items.
• Interpret designs, construction documents, and quantify materials for construction.
• Coordinate CSA elements within the overall project design.
• Organize and facilitate training of client personnel in CSA systems.
• Review submittals and coordinate multiple submittals for accuracy and functionality.
• Generate/review RFIs and distribute change documents.
• Field survey layout of control lines and benchmarks.
• Serve as technical advisor at onsite field office.
• Coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP systems within the project.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent degree
