The Walsh Group, Ltd. seeks an experienced Project Engineer I for a multi-billion dollar campus project in downtown Nashville, TN.

You will support document control, coordination, QA/QC, safety, and site inspections while growing with a dynamic team on a high-profile build. Based in Nashville with relocation consideration for top candidates, you will use tools like Procore and Bluebeam to track progress, manage changes, and assist with estimating as needed.

Formación

• 1+ years of construction project experience including internships or co-ops.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience with coordinating trades and document control processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools is required.

Responsabilidades

• Document control including drawing revisions, RFIs, submittals, change orders.
• Assist project team with daily coordination and procurement of materials.
• Perform front-line QA/QC checks and coordinate mock-ups.
• Coordinate with trade partners and manage production tracking.
• Capture project photography and documentation for progress reports.
• Maintain equipment logs with the Superintendents.
• Support safety program development and culture.
• Assist with cost estimates and schedule analysis for changes.
• Conduct site inspections and complete checklists.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Document control (drawing revisions, RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.)
• Assist and support the project team with daily coordination· Procurement and expediting of construction materials
• Front line Quality Control / Quality Assurance checks and monitoring· Mock-up coordination and reviews
• Coordination of trade partners
• Production tracking of trade partners and self-perform crews
• Project photography and other documentation for progress reporting
• Manage construction equipment logs with the Superintendent(s)
• Participate in safety management and culture development
• Cost estimating and schedule analysis for change orders
• Project site inspections and checklist completion

QUALIFICATIONS

• 1+ years of experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Experience can include internships, co-ops, or prior employment
• Computer skills are required, including but not limited to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, P6, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud, etc.
• This role is planned to be based in Nashville, Tennessee and is not a project-specific position
• Relocation of superior candidates to Nashville will be considered if currently located outside of the local market
