Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support project execution from planning and design through completion in Santa Ana, CA. You will coordinate technical documentation, review drawings and specifications, and ensure projects meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in project engineering or related fields, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CAD/Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in project engineering, project coordination, construction, manufacturing, or a related field.
• Strong project planning, organization, and documentation skills.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ability to manage project schedules, timelines, and multiple priorities.
• Experience with submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project tracking.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Experience with CAD, Bluebeam, or similar design/document management software is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and commitment to quality.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Review project drawings, specifications, schedules, and technical documents.
• Prepare and coordinate shop drawings, submittals, samples, and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, field personnel, vendors, subcontractors, and clients.
• Verify dimensions, layouts, site conditions, and project requirements.
• Perform material takeoffs and assist with procurement and material planning.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project correspondence.
• Coordinate project schedules, deliveries, and installation activities.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or conflicts.
• Conduct site visits and support field teams with technical issues.
• Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, forecasting, and project reporting.
• Maintain organized project files, drawings, approvals, and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety requirements, and project specifications.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
