Helix Electric in Manassas, VA seeks a Project Engineer to assist the Project Manager on heavy commercial electrical construction projects. You will act as the liaison between field and office, define objectives, and manage schedule and budget to ensure timely, profitable delivery.

The role requires 3+ years of PE experience, strong scheduling and contract knowledge, and excellent communication. Competitive base pay with benefits is offered on-site in Manassas.

• Experience in heavy commercial/private electrical construction and project scheduling.
• Ability to develop relationships and assist in winning projects.
• Strong written and oral communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager on projects and liaise between field and office.
• Define project objectives, plan, execute, and finalize within schedule and budget.
• Provide oversight for scheduling, procurement, and contractual requirements.
• Manage invoicing, change orders, and financial forecasting.
• Mentor and develop colleagues, ensure deadlines are met.
