Job summary

WECTEC Staffing Services, a Westinghouse Electric Company subsidiary, seeks a Project Engineer - Data Center in Florida on a 1-year contract. You will manage all technical aspects of data center power projects, coordinate internal and external resources, and provide technical leadership through project delivery.

You will report to the onsite Engineering Lead and collaborate with diverse teams to ensure high-quality execution, leveraging 8+ years of engineering and project management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (electrical, mechanical, civil, or related).
• 8+ years of experience preferred in engineering and project management.
• Data center or power delivery background preferred.
• Experience coordinating internal/external resources on projects.

Responsibilities

• Support external engineering resources and deliverables, coordinating internal teams and SMEs.
• Report to the Engineering Lead of Data Center Project Engineering.
• Collaborate with diverse teams to ensure standardized, high-quality project delivery.

About the role:

Location: Juno Beach, FL 33408

We are looking for a Project Engineer- Data Center on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment. (W-2). You will join the Engineering & Construction (E&C). You will support data center power projects. You will manage all Technical aspects of projects from due diligence through project completion. You will make decisions and recommendations having impact on major engineering and related project activities. You resolve complex technical issues and to coordinate internal and external engineering support for successful project delivery. You will report to the onsite manager.

Key Responsibilities

• You will support company partners, managing external engineering resources and deliverables, coordinating internal engineering resources and Subject Matter Expert to support, and providing technical leadership throughout project execution.
• You will report to the Engineering Lead of Data Center Project Engineering.
• You will work with diverse teams to support standardized, high-quality, and project delivery.

Qualifications

Education

• We require a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (e.g. electrical, mechanical, civil, or related discipline).

Experience

• 8+ years of experience preferred.
• Engineering and project management experience supporting infrastructure, power, or
• mission-critical projects is preferred.
• Data center or power delivery background is preferred.
• Experience managing internal and external engineering resources on projects.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $65.00/hr. to $70.00/hr.
