Job summary

Walsh Group is seeking a Project Engineer for the North Texas Region to support on-site project coordination and documentation control. You will manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and coordinate subcontractors while assisting the team with planning and execution.

The role emphasizes problem solving, data-informed decisions, and maintaining safety and quality checks as the project progresses through to completion. Bachelor’s degree is preferred and relocation may be required.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in project engineering or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Relocation may be required for specific roles.
• Internship, co-op, or prior employment experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Document control (RFIs, submittals, change orders, claims, etc.).
• Assisting and supporting project team with daily project coordination.
• Procurement of construction materials.
• Quality control / quality assurance checks.
• Coordination of subcontractors.
• Survey and project layout.
• Weekly pictures for progress reports.
• Manage construction equipment.
• Safety management.
• Project estimating.
