    This position is an intermediate level position in which the Enginee r is expected to be able to complete work with increasing independence. An Enginee r in Subsea Services Operations Engineering is a critical player in ensuring proper planning and execution of post- manufacturing services to our customers. Their responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Upfront: C reating, reviewing, updating documentation (routings, task lists, inspection reports, standard work instructions) , technical planning, Project Manager interface, and Customer interface .

    • Shop Execution: T roubleshooting, path forward dispositions, on-site equipment support, technical planning Project Manager interface, and Customer interface.

    • Other : V erifying router accuracy and administration of training program requirements for Controls Services shop new hires .

    This role is for the Controls Services team supporting Controls and Topsides equipment , Subsea Distribution and IWOCS equipment.

    • Manages the technical scope of delivering Controls equipment through the workshop .

    • Develops strong relationships with the shop technicians, customer , C ustomer S ervice team , and I nstallation E ngineering team.

    • Analyzes and interprets data independently. Anticipates potential problems and takes preventative action. Participates in the project planning and schedule process.
    • Creates work instructions and E ngineering documentation to mobilize, refurbish, upgrade/convert, maintain , and preserve equipment.

    • Creates and prepares Service Orders to provide comprehensive instructions to workshop for projects including ownership of part and tooling allocations, task list operations , and applicable documentation.
    • Physical inspection and interaction with equipment in the workshop.

    • Participates in project planning, scheduling , and status reporting .

    • Supports Field non-conformance investigations, RCAs, and SN resolution and leads other projects or the solving of problems .

    • Prepares reports, including After Action Reviews, for E ngineering project assignments.

    • Participates in continuous improvement projects. Interprets and applies relevant standards, policies , procedures .

    • Demonstrate s cooperation and interaction across stakeholders with similar goals, typically internal, often managing familiar and less challenging customers.

    Requirements
    • BS degree in Engineering preferred or equivalent with 2 to 4 years of experience in the field

    • Strong technical basis in engineering

    • Project management skills

    • Good organizational and problem-solving skills

    • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment

    WORK ENVIRONMENT : Fast paced office atmosphere with multiple priorities and constant change . Frequent engagement with internal and external contacts . Frequent visits to the workshop.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Frequent meetings, sittin g for long periods of time, operating a computer , observing workshop activities, working on /around equipment in the workshop.
