Job summary

Griffith Company is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support its Central Region, primarily in Bakersfield and surrounding areas. You will provide technical input to ensure work aligns with codes, drawings and specifications, coordinate change orders, expediting materials, and assisting in estimates and progress analysis.

Prior experience on structures projects is preferred. The role involves extensive documentation, client coordination, and supervision of subcontractors, with strong

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and material suppliers.
• Maintain project controls including daily reports, cost codings, submittals, RFIs and progress payments.
• Assemble project schedules and track project labor costs/equipment.
• Review accounts payable, subcontracts and time sheets; facilitate job site meetings.
