Job summary

Precision Walls is seeking a Project Engineer to join our on-site team in a role that supports project managers on large drywall construction jobs. You will read blueprints, interpret specs, manage contract reviews, and oversee labor and material management to keep projects on target.

You’ll also assist in submittal development, RFI handling, and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate has a commercial drywall background, strong communication skills, and a growth mindset.

Qualifications

Commercial drywall construction background required.
Strong in-person, verbal and written communication.
Willingness to grow and lead within a team.

Responsibilities

Assist Project Manager on large jobs.
Review contracts and manage on-site coordination and quality control.
Read blueprints and interpret specifications.
Assist in budget development and takeoffs.
Prepare and track submittals and RFI responses.
Support material tracking and procurement.
Maintain project schedule to meet deadlines.
Support field operations to maximize productivity.
