Piedmont Plaster & Drywall (PPD) in Charlottesville, VA is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Lee Construction Group family. You will support schedules, budgets, and resources while reading plans, ensuring safety, and coordinating with subcontractors on active projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering and 5 years of commercial construction experience. A Virginia driver’s license and the ability to pass a drug test and background check are

• 5 years of commercial construction experience (metal framing, drywall, and related specialty construction a plus).
• Valid Virginia Driver’s License.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

What You’ll Do:

• Help manage project schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Read and apply construction plans and specs.
• Keep everything safe and compliant.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Report progress to the project leader.

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering
• 5 years of commercial construction experience (metal framing, drywall, and other related specialty construction is a plus)
