Job summary

Wright-Ryan Construction, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Commercial division in bringing Maine's high-visibility buildings to life.

You will collaborate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with top-quality results. Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s in Construction Management or Engineering and 1–3 years of construction experience, with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field; 1–3 years construction experience or internships valued.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers with planning and execution from start to finish.
• Review plans, specs, and estimates to understand project scope.
• Collaborate with PMs, architects, subcontractors, and clients to meet specs.
• Coordinate schedules and manage timelines to keep projects on track.
• Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Participate in site inspections for safety and quality.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and contracts.
• Monitor progress and budgets, identify risks, and develop solutions.
• Support closeout processes and final deliverables.
