Job summary

Eichleay in Salt Lake City is seeking a Project Engineer to support project delivery across the lifecycle on projects up to $20MM TIC. You will assist with day-to-day execution, interfacing with clients and Project Managers, and gaining exposure to engineering, procurement, construction coordination, and project controls while developing core PM skills.

The role emphasizes collaboration, adherence to safety standards, and use of PM tools like Unanet.

Qualifications

• Education: Accredited four-year Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
• Experience: Minimum of five years related experience with one year of project management/project engineering experience.
• Location: Must live within 50 miles of Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities

• Promote and comply with health, safety, and environmental requirements; support a zero-incident culture.
• Apply project delivery processes, procedures, and quality standards across all phases of work.
• Coordinate and integrate activities across engineering, procurement, and construction to meet project requirements.
• Lead and support meetings; prepare agendas, minutes, and action tracking.
• Support development of deliverables including scopes of work, cost estimates, schedules, and work orders.
• Monitor project performance with cost, schedule, forecasting, and change management activities.
• Coordinate deliverables, vendor documentation, procurement packages, and construction work packages.
• Support permitting activities and regulatory packages.
• Prepare and distribute routine project reports, presentations, and client communications.
• Manage RFIs and ensure timely resolution.
• Support field and construction activities with site visits and coordination.
• Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Utilize Unanet to support budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and project setup.
• Assist with project closeout including documentation and turnover requirements.
