Job summary

A leading civil engineering firm based in Charlotte is seeking a Project Engineer with over 3 years of experience in site development. In this role, you will contribute to various projects involving site planning and utility design. You are expected to have a degree in Civil Engineering and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in site development or land development design.
• EIT certification preferred; PE track encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Develop site layout, grading, stormwater systems, and utility designs using Civil 3D.
• Prepare construction documents, drainage reports, SWPPPs, and permit submittals.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and attend municipal/client meetings.
• Coordinate with subconsultants and internal design teams.
• Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative project environment.
