Position Overview

The technologies of future transportation solutions will include increasing levels of automation, connectivity, electrification, and customer services which is currently revolutionizing our vehicles. International Motor’s System Engineering team is responsible for developing and defining our vehicle systems functionality and interfacing behavior across the vehicle. Our concepts and requirements are guided by customer, legal, technical standards, or internal specifications for mechanical, electrical, and software elements of defined systems. Our ideal candidates are creative thinkers, undaunted problem solvers, and team players with a passion for technology and a commitment to excellence.

This position is part of the Autonomous Systems (ATS) team establishing and developing vehicle integration solutions specific to autonomous electric and electronics systems. It represents the scrum master function within the agile SAFe framework and is a key coordinator within the development team as well as an effective coordinator between execution teams. As part of TRATON’s Global R&D team, you will lead collaboration with development teams across our global sites and ensure proper integration of our team members and product development.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, retrospectives, etc.)
  • Integrate into the global VCT
  • Support teams in applying Agile/SAFe principles and practices
  • Facilitate removal of roadblocks and escalate impediments when necessary
  • Ensure alignment with Program Increment (PI) planning and dependencies
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, the Product Owner, and other Scrum Masters
  • Protect the scrum team from distractions and unnecessary disruptions
  • Stand for the dedicated scrum team
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and empowerment
  • Maintain team boards and Agile tools (Jira)
  • Ensure clear communication and transparency across teams
  • Guide teams in self-organization and accountability
  • Provide Agile/SAFe training to new team members and other teams
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • OR Master’s degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • OR PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Computer Science
Additional Requirements
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
