Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Experience with commercial CAD tools and ability to manage large CAD assemblies.
• Two years of experience in a similar role or graduate work.
• Proven ability to apply knowledge in real-world environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal and structural simulations of engine and generator systems including enclosures using CFD/FEA tools.
• Model piping and subsystems to validate performance targets.
• Evaluate safety and performance with structural simulations and CAD geometry preparation.
• Prepare CAD geometry for simulations to minimize complexity and size.
• Gather simulation requirements from internal product teams and ensure input criteria are met.
• Conduct experimental measurements for validation of thermal and fluid flow assumptions.
