Last Energy is seeking a Project Engineer to help scale our engineering team while retaining hands-on design responsibilities. The role supports project ownership and potential outward-facing duties, enabling growth beyond traditional design work.
Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s in engineering, 2+ years of relevant experience, and a willingness to relocate to the Washington, DC metro area. Compensation reflects a wide $80,000–$200,000 range with strong benefits.
Last Energy is productizing a micro-modular nuclear plant and transforming the manufacturing process with the goal of delivering hundreds of installations per year by the end of the decade. We are in the process of doubling our engineering team to deliver on our first power plant by 2025.
Our organizational structure allowsfor “Swiss-Army knife contributors” who have the ability to fulfill various roles depending on the project type, their interest, expertise, and availability.
These functional divisions include:
(A) project owner, (B) subject matter expert / advisor, (C) individual contributor / design engineer, (D) research analyst or (E) external relationship manager.
