C.W. Roberts Contracting, Inc. is seeking a Project Engineer to support our local operations.

The role reports to the Project Manager and is a full-time position with on-the-job training provided. Responsibilities include managing project specifications, coordinating schedules, producing and distributing reports, handling submittals, and supporting cost controls. A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management is required, with proficiency in MS Office, scheduling tools, and

• Proficient in MS Office, Scheduling, Adobe or Bluebeam.
• Must meet company MVR requirements and have a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Employer conducts drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Process and distribute reports and other administrative documents
• Respond to subcontractor inquiries related to project schedule, quantities, and billing
• Prepare, review, and submit project submittals
• Prepare and distribute daily reports
• Assist Project Manager with cost controls
• Attend weekly meetings
• Other duties as assigned
