Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its PCI San Antonio 116 operations based in San Antonio, TX. The role involves coordinating field teams, managing schedules, creating and implementing job plans, and supporting QA/QC efforts to ensure timely, quality delivery.

This on-site position requires at least 2 years of construction project experience, strong communication, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Prepare RFI’s and submittals
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
• Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program
• Assist in other duties as assigned

This position is safety-sensitive.

Basic Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years’ experience supporting or managing construction projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline
• Experience with different scopes of constructionpreferred

• Local to San Antonio, TX
