Job summary

Performance Contracting is seeking an experienced Project Engineer for its PCI San Antonio 116 operations based in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on coordinating with field teams, managing schedules, takeoffs, and QA/QC adherence.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of construction project experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office. Local to San Antonio is preferred; OSHA certification is a plus. This position is not visa-sponsored.

• Perform labor control on assigned projects, including setup and maintenance
• Prepare RFI's and submittals
• Quantitative takeoffs to verify estimates, order materials, and price change orders
• Create and implement job schedules and coordinate with field supervisors and foremen
• Create and manage punch lists and job closeout documentation
• Support the Quality Control measures outlined in the QA/QC program
• Assist in other duties as assigned

This position is safety-sensitive.

Basic Requirements

• Must have at least 2 years' experience supporting or managing construction projects
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (e.g., Excel, Word, etc.)
• Possess a clear understanding of how to read and interpret specifications and drawings
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Science, or related discipline
• Experience with different scopes of construction preferred
• Experience managing specialty scopes of construction
