We are currently seeking a Project Engineer for our client in the Steel Manufacturing domain. We value our professionals, providing comprehensive benefits and the opportunity for growth. This is a Permanent position, and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Duration: Full-time

Location: Rock Hill, SC

Salary: $100,000-$140,000/Annually

Role: Project Engineer

Role Description: The Project Engineer should have 4 to 15+ years of experience.

Basic Job Functions:

Responsibilities include:

• Reviewing utility customer drawing packages and specifications
• Designing and analyzing tubular steel utility structures, including transmission, distribution, and substation structures, to meet codes, standards, and customer requirements
• Providing preliminary design estimates and checking final designs for production
• Utilizing 3D modeling software and proprietary calculation tools
• If licensed, managing projects and customer territories responsibly
• Providing technical support and collaborating with sales, detailing, project management, and production teams
• Effective communication and project coordination with internal and external stakeholders
• Working on-site at the designated location
• Occasional travel to company plants, utility offices, field locations, or trade shows
• Upholding safety policies, practices, and standards at all times

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to obtain a Professional Engineer (PE) license within 4 years of employment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in engineering or business
• Experience with transmission and distribution systems, utility structures, or steel products design/manufacturing
• Knowledge of PLS-Pole software
• Experience in customer-facing roles
