Job summary

Holder Construction is seeking a Project Engineer for an on-site, full-time position on a Phoenix project. The role requires coordinating trades, managing material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, and interfacing with field supervision to ensure project success.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering field or 3+ years of equivalent experience, with strong communication, time management, and computer skills. Willingness to relocate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site trade coordination and management, material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, with field supervision and cost/design issue management.
• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Oversee overall trade management with some exposure to BIM.

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Operations team on a project in Phoenix, AZ. This is a full‑time, in‑person position.

Key Responsibilities

• On‑site trade coordination and management, coordination of material design, fabrication, delivery and installation, ongoing interaction with field supervision, management of cost and design issues (change orders, RFI’s, document updates, etc.) and other responsibilities focused on overall project management and success.
• Read and understand Construction Design Documents and Specifications.
• Perform construction cost estimates and quantity surveys for various scopes of work.
• Overall trade management and coordination, and some level of exposure to BIM.

• Bachelor's degree in a construction/engineering related field OR 3+ years of equivalent work experience

Preferred:

• Willingness to relocate as needed
