Job Overview

JP Donovan Construction is a general contracting firm specializing in Aerospace, Heavy Civil, Steel Fabrication, and Marine Construction headquartered in Rockledge, Florida. Responsibilities:

  1. Plan and facilitate required meetings, initiate necessary and pertinent communications regarding RFI management, checkout coordination, quality assurance, document control, and issues resolution with the Owner's technical team.
  2. Sub-System field engineering and hands-on execution.
  3. Change and cost control management.
  4. Field construction and quality control.
  5. Field checkout and commissioning activities.
  6. Review technical documentation and analysis to support project management.
  7. Customer site administrative and program planning support, including drafting white papers, impact statements, and presentations for leadership.
  8. Coordinate program and meeting schedules.
  9. Support customer meetings, including drafting minutes and tracking actions.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
  • Junior Engineer with experience in construction/manufacturing projects, emphasizing project engineering/management and engineering design.
  • Attention to detail with the ability to review engineering specifications, system designs, program schedules, financial sheets, and other technical data.
