Job summary

Qualifications

Overview

Our client, Southern Company Services, is seeking a Mechanical Designer - P&ID Developer with 5-10 years of experience developing and modifying P&IDs within industrial environments. This individual will support engineering teams by creating, updating, and validating Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), conducting field walkdowns, and ensuring accurate documentation of plant systems.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of AutoCAD experience as a Mechanical Designer.
• Previous experience with P&ID development and modifications.
• Experience supporting industrial/process facilities.
• Ability to work onsite, perform field walkdowns, and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
