Job summary

Designed Conveyor Systems is seeking a Project Engineer to manage all engineering aspects of conveyor and material handling projects. You will lead and mentor teammates across Engineering and Purchasing, delivering high-quality solutions on tight timelines.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, proficiency in AutoCAD and Navisworks, and knowledge of Inventor. You will work on cross-functional teams to review specs, drive results, and ensure design integrity.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Navisworks; working knowledge of Inventor a plus.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in engineering, especially material handling.
  • Ability to apply creativity to solve problems and manage tasks with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

  • Participate as a project team member to complete conveyor & material handling projects.
  • Own and manage engineering-related tasks on a project, including schedules, budgets, and ECOs.
  • Lead conversations with vendors and suppliers to review system designs.

About the Role:

As a Project Engineer,you’llmanage all aspects of engineering on a project, nuts to bolts. In this role, you will…
  • Participate as a member of a project teamcomprisedof PM, Buyers, Customer Service,& othersin order tosuccessfully complete conveyor & material handling projects.
  • Own and manage all engineering-related tasks on a project, includingmaintainingengineering schedules, budgets,& trackingengineering change orders.
  • Lead conversations and drive results withvendors, and other suppliers to review & evaluate system & equipment designs.
  • Review customer specifications to confirm adherence to these duringdesignprocess.
  • Providetechnical support for the engineering process.
  • Use AutoCAD and/or other drafting tools to complete system reviews, coordinatewith.
