Project Engineer – Commercial Construction

A well-established commercial contractor is looking to add a Project Engineer to their local team. This role is perfect for someone who is eager to grow in the construction industry, contribute to impactful projects, and work closely with experienced leaders in the field.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
  • Handle day-to-day project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Review drawings, contracts, and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Assist in tracking schedules, monitoring costs, and reporting on progress.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to keep communication clear and efficient.
  • Promote and uphold safety and quality standards across all assigned projects.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field — or equivalent industry experience.
  • 1–3+ years of experience in commercial construction.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfort with construction management software and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Must be local and able to reliably commute to projects within the region.
