Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking a Project Engineer – Transportation based in Monroe, Wisconsin, to design and support transportation projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role emphasizes learning by doing and contributing to diverse projects from roadway design to water-related engineering.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree, 5+ years of experience, and an EIT/FE certification; PE is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in transportation engineering.
  • EIT/FE certification required; PE certification is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Capacity to manage complex projects and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with detailed design tasks for engineering staff.
  • Prepare reports, calculations, and engineering specifications.
  • Conduct planning, investigations, and surveys while applying innovative engineering principles.
  • Contribute to project designs, drawings, and specifications.
  • Engage in roadway design, stormwater analysis, water distribution, wastewater engineering, and construction engineering.
  • Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes and standards.
  • Conduct engineering calculations and analyses to support project planning.
  • Assist in project documentation, reporting, and coordination with project managers.

What You’ll Do
