POWER Engineers, a member of WSP, is seeking a Project Engineer for our Government Services Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on engineering design projects in the government sector, including mission-critical infrastructure such as power delivery, generation, distribution, backup power, UPS, system studies, renewable energy, and MEP design.

Key skills include strong team leadership, mentoring, excellent communication and presentation skills, motivation, a positive attitude, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The successful candidate will contribute to developing a sustainable electrical department and will interface directly with clients, demonstrating the ability to drive projects to successful completion within budget and schedule.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading design teams, including sub-consultants.
2. Collaborating with federal clients on energy and infrastructure projects.
3. Managing multiple projects concurrently.

Minimum requirements include:

• BS degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering License, with the ability to be licensed in multiple states.
• At least 7 years of experience leading technical design teams on federal projects, particularly with NAVFAC or USACE, and experience with design-build and design-bid-build projects.
• Experience in electrical power distribution, mechanical systems, and building design.
• Excellent communication skills, willingness to travel, and US citizenship.

Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of relevant experience, ability to obtain a security clearance, experience with mission-critical infrastructure, and proficiency with CAD and BIM software.

Note: The position may be remote with periodic travel.
