Job summary

Arthur Wright and Associates is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Missouri to manage defined portions of projects and maintain accurate documentation, including drawings, schedules, and test results. You will work with clients and the site team to ensure smooth information flow and timely decision making.

This role partners with the Superintendent to plan upcoming work, track deliveries, and assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress and identifying efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

  • 18 months of experience in project engineering or construction project management.

  • Coordinate with superintendent to plan upcoming work and material delivery.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Project Engineer is an experienced professional responsible for a defined portion of a project and is accountable for establishing effective working relationships with clients and managing the flow of routine information and documents to the entire project team. The Senior Project Engineer maintains up-to-date, accurate documents for the project including drawings, project schedule, as-builts, submittals, logs, test results, etc. The Senior Project Engineer works closely with the Superintendent to plan and coordinate upcoming work and obtains, tracks, and expedites the delivery of equipment and materials to the site. The Senior Project Engineer assists the Project Manager in monitoring the status of the project and identifying efforts to manage the project more effectively.

Individual assignments will vary based on project scope, phase, and job requirements.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field and 18-months experience in project engineering, construction project management, or related activities with exposure to projects of minor to moderate scope, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
