Job Summary: The Project Engineer role serves as a key technical and business partner within the Product Management organization, supporting the development, enhancement, and lifecycle management of Barksdale’s valve product portfolio. This role bridges engineering, product management, sales, operations, and customers by providing technical expertise, managing product-related projects, evaluating customer applications, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering fundamentals with business acumen to identify customer needs, develop technical solutions, support product strategy, and lead cross-functional projects from concept through implementation. This position plays an important role in new product development, product rationalization, obsolescence management, application engineering, and customer-facing technical support as he/she works in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Shipping, and Sales & Marketing) to ensure successful outcomes.
Salary range: $85,000 to $95,000.
