Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an Engineering Project Manager to lead projects from proposal through completion, ensuring the scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met. You will coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, develop schedules, monitor progress, manage risks, and maintain strong client relationships, with travel to client sites as required.

This role requires clear communication with stakeholders, accurate reporting, and proactive problem solving to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an accredited engineering discipline (civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, or similar).
• Minimum 2 years of engineering experience in a consulting or industrial environment.
• Minimum 2 years supporting projects in chemical, refining, utility, municipal, transportation, or industrial sectors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules.
• Willingness to travel locally and occasionally out of town for meetings.
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or another accredited engineering discipline.
• Minimum of two (2) years of engineering experience within a consulting or industrial environment.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience supporting projects within the chemical, refining, utility, municipal, transportation or industrial sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Experience developing and maintaining project schedules.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute engineering projects while maintaining quality standards and meeting project deadlines.
• Willingness and ability to travel locally and occasionally out of town for client meetings and project assignments.
• Authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
