Job summary

ALBD Electric & Cable in La Habra, CA seeks a Project Engineer to plan and coordinate all project phases from start-up to close-out, ensuring successful execution. You will work closely with the Project Management team to align schedules, budgets, and safety requirements.

The role supports review of proposals, budget analysis for small projects, and on-site coordination with contractors. A 2+ year background in electrical administration and strong organization and communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ Years experience in Electrical Administration.
• Electrical experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers in reviewing proposals and plans to establish time frames, funding limitations, and procedures for project completion.
• Monitor project schedules and ensure adherence to requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to analyze budget costs for small-scale projects, ensuring alignment with financial goals and project requirements.
• Maintain frequent communication with general contractors, external vendors, and subcontractors.
• Occasionally accompany Project Manager's to project sites.
• Participate in project start-up and close-out activities.
• Assist in estimating and processing change orders.
• Create an agenda for kickoff and handoff meetings.
• Ensure the required safety documentation is provided to the General Contractor.
• Other duties as designated by the Director and Senior Project Engineer.

Benefits

• Hourly Range: $25.00 - $35.00
