We’re looking for a Project Engineer who’s ready to own complex engineered systems from concept to commissioning. If you enjoy hands‑on problem solving, customer partnership, and seeing your designs come to life in the field, this role is built for you.

What you’ll do
Lead engineered systems from concept to commissioning
  • Own technical execution of projects from initial design through manufacturing, testing, installation, and startup.
  • Translate customer requirements, specifications, industry standards, and applicable codes into practical engineering solutions.
  • Develop engineering deliverables including calculations, drawings, system layouts, and technical documentation.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure safety, quality, manufacturability, and performance requirements are achieved.
  • Support product testing, validation activities, and field commissioning when required.
Drive project execution and technical coordination
  • Partner with Project Management to develop schedules, engineering milestones, and resource plans.
  • Identify technical and schedule risks early and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure projects move efficiently from design through production.
Serve as a technical leader
  • Act as a technical resource for customers, sales, production, service, and supply chain teams.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to evaluate and specify equipment and components.
  • Work alongside outside engineering consultants and certification agencies on specialized technical challenges.
Support commercial success and product quality
  • Assist Sales and Business Development teams with technical proposals and customer solutions.
  • Evaluate material and labor costs during design to identify cost‑effective solutions without compromising quality or performance.
  • Create and maintain engineering documentation including drawings, bills of materials, manuals, engineering changes, and quality records.
  • Support third‑party certifications and approvals including UL, FM, CSA, and other regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in Project Engineering, Systems Engineering, Product Engineering, or a similar role supporting engineered equipment or industrial systems.
  • Proficiency with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across engineering, operations, supply chain, and customer teams.
  • Hands‑on mechanical aptitude and comfort working directly with equipment, assemblies, and testing activities.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly valued, but not all are required:
  • Heat transfer and thermodynamics
  • Combustion systems and fuel trains
  • Fluid systems and component sizing
  • Fans, blowers, and flow equipmentPressure vessel design and ASME codes
  • Materials selection, corrosion, and compatibility
  • Industrial wiring and hazardous locations
  • PLC fundamentals and basic control systems
  • Industrial gas, energy, thermal process, or process equipment industries
