Project Engineer

DZYNE has an immediate need for a talented Project Engineer capable of supporting both on-going and emerging federal defense and commercial contracts. Desired work location is Irvine, CA. This position requires experience in executing federal research and development (R&D) contracts. This position requires a person that can both develop process and work within defined procedures, to include government requirements. The successful candidate must have experience interfacing with a wide range of internal disciplines, customers, and active subcontractors. Specific demonstrated experience in project financials tracking, data and hardware deliverable management, and subcontractor management is desired. The successful candidate will have a background with experience in projects in the Government or Defense Contracting Industry.
No Security Clearance is required, but it is highly desired
Not required for daily activities, but probable travel once per quarter
This position requires access to information and technology subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). As a result, employment is contingent upon meeting applicable export control eligibility requirements and compliance obligations.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without the need for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
$90,000- $120,000 annually. Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
