Embecta Corp. in Holdrege, NE is seeking a hands-on Project Engineer to lead manufacturing projects from concept through production, with a focus on safety, quality, delivery and cost.

You will design and improve equipment, manage scope and budgets, and work with vendors and cross-functional teams to drive projects to milestones. Responsibilities include equipment validation, FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ risk assessments, and maintaining thorough technical documentation to meet internal and regulatory

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (engineering or related field) required OR 3+ years in a manufacturing setting, engineering field.
• Mechanical or manufacturing system design.
• Equipment specification, testing, and validation.
• Manufacturing materials and processes.
• Project Management skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Project (or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Technical documentation and report writing.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering projects from concept through production, including design, build, testing, validation, installation, startup, and handoff, with a focus on improving safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Design and improve manufacturing equipment, tooling, technologies, and processes, while supporting new product development, prototype builds, technical problem-solving and root-cause investigations.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources and risks, including developing cost estimates, preparing capital requests, and driving projects to key milestones.
• Partner with vendors and cross-functional teams to lead equipment design reviews, FAT/SAT, installation, validation, and startup while coordinating with Manufacturing, Quality, Facilities and Maintenance.
• Lead equipment validation and engineering change activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ risk assessments, technical documentation, and compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
• Other job-related duties as requested
