Moleaer Company is a venture-backed technology company that is privately owned and is based in Hawthorne, California. It is the category creator and global leader in nanobubble technology, which is revolutionizing how industries use water. The only fundamental scientific innovation in water in the past 30 years, nanobubbles drive sustainability, enabling industries to produce more while using significantly less water, energy, and chemicals. Water is our most precious resource. Not only do we need it to live, but we also use it in virtually every industrial process from food production to mining to mixing concrete. Moleaer’s mission is to unlock the power of water to do more with less. Our patented nanobubble technology improvessustainable food production andprocessing, water and wastewater treatment, natural resource recovery, and we can even restore aquatic ecosystems sustainably – and we do all of this with nanobubbles, not chemicals.

Nanobubbles are 2,500 times smaller than a grain of salt and have properties that allow them to supersaturate water with oxygen, formnaturaloxidants for disinfection, and increase water’s ability to permeate soil, rock, and even clothes in a washing machine. Our technology has beenvalidatedby extensive research, and we currently have over 2,500 installations inmore than 50countries .

About the Role

We are looking for a Project Engineer who can help us get products out the door — reliably, repeatably, and right the first time. This role bridges design and production, owning the day-to-day coordination needed to bring products to life. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure builds go smoothly, documentation is clear, and any problems are tackled in real time. This is hands-on, fast-moving environment where no two days has the same challenge to solve.

Essential Functions
  • Lead cross-functional project execution, ensuring all phases are delivered on time and in alignment with scope, by developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, coordinating resources, and proactively resolving issues that could impact milestone.
  • Responsible for hardware builds starting at the warehouse and ending on the shipping dock for standard production products and custom one-off orders.
  • Monitor timelines, identify roadblocks, and keep teams aligned on priorities and deliverables.
  • Work directly with our assembly and manufacturing teams to solve problems on the floor — fast and effectively.
  • Redline drawings and documentation when changes are needed during build, and work with engineering to ensure updates are reviewed and released properly
  • Write, maintain, and improve work instructions, build procedures, and other production documentation including quality control plans, acceptance test procedures and field service procedures.
  • Lead engineering quality efforts to investigate and resolve nonconformances, determine root cause and corrective action, improve product design for manufacturability, affordability, reliability and serviceability
  • Direct team members on parts availability, tooling, and resources to support production schedules.
  • Work with suppliers to resolve issues, shortages or modifications of purchased materials.
  • Write engineering change orders (ECOs) and ensure updates are reflected in documentation and systems.
  • Help lead first article builds or new process implementation, track lessons learned, and feed improvements back into the design and process.
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar.
  • 7–15 years of experience in a hands-on project or manufacturing engineering role.
  • Solid understanding of production scheduling, mechanical assemblies, manufacturing workflows, and quality control.
  • Experience writing clear, usable work instructions or build documentation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills — you know how to dig into a problem and get to the root cause.
  • Comfortable navigating between SolidWorks models, PDM systems, ERP (e.g., NetSuite), Excel and a wrench on the floor.
  • Strong communicator, naturally collaborative, and calm under pressure.
  • Familiarity with fluid systems, piping, pumps, compressors and related ancillary components
  • Experience with developing welding processes for stainless steel piping components
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable with taking ownership and accountability
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems’ requirements.
Why Join us

You’ll play a key role in ensuring the integrity of our product design documentation and systems integration. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with the opportunity to contribute to scalable engineering processes and systems infrastructure that supports company growth and innovation.

Moleaer is an equal opportunity employer, and we encourage candidates of all backgrounds to apply. If you are a dedicated and experienced project engineer looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity, we invite you to join our team and contribute to our success in delivering custom-engineered industrial solutions.
