Job summary

Pacific Federal Management (PFM) seeks a Project Engineer to support multiple Guam construction projects. You will collaborate with superintendents, project teams, designers, and subcontractors to staff positions, interpret field data, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.

The ideal candidate has a BA in Engineering and at least 3 years of construction experience, with strong MS Office proficiency and the ability to learn quickly about project scope.

Responsibilities

• Staff project positions with Superintendents and project teams.
• Analyze field information through frequent field interactions.
• Quality control: track progress of jobs and work.
• Collaborate with design team to deliver results.
• Coordinate and partner with subcontractors.
• Prepare RFIs to vendors and subcontractors.
• Act as liaison between General Contractor and vendors.
• Ensure projects stay within contract scope.
• Coordinate between contract drawings and submittals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

As a Project Engineer, you will apply your knowledge and skills to support various construction projects to meet the needs of our company and clients.

Essential Functions

• Collaborates with the Superintendents and Project teams to appropriately staff all project positions
• Analyzes and interprets field information through frequent interactions with the field in all scopes of work being performed
• Quality Control - Track job/work progress
• Collaborate with design team and other key team members to deliver exceptional results
• Coordinate and partner with subcontractors
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Coordinate between contract drawings and submittal drawings
• Ensure that all projects and deliverables are completed properly within the scope of contract
• Prepare requests for information to vendors and subcontractors for services and supplies
• Act as the liaison between the General Contractor and our vendors

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to obtain security clearance (for applicable project sites) as necessary.
• Must be willing to work between multiple worksites and possess a valid Guam drivers license.
