Job summary

Pureflow, Inc. is seeking a NC Project Engineer to design and size equipment, develop piping & instrumentation diagrams, and support start-ups for water treatment projects.

Collaborate with business developers, engineers, and shop personnel on preliminary designs and cost estimates. You will produce detailed drawings with CAD, specify components with Purchasing, and manage project documentation from drawings to validation; expect up to 25% travel and a 45-hour workweek in a busy manufacturing

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an engineering or technical role.
  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
  • Water treatment experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Work with business developers, engineers, and shop personnel to develop preliminary equipment design plans and cost estimates for new products or refurbished equipment projects
  • Design systems and size components; develop piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
  • Work with CAD designers to produce detailed engineering drawings
  • Specify and work with purchasing to procure system components
  • Prepare and oversee project documentation including drawings, spec sheets, O&M manuals, and validation documents
  • Attend and support system start-ups, includes onsite operation, testing and troubleshooting of newly installed equipment
  • Support with sales strategy, generate technical brochures, presentations and any other supporting documents needed for new project opportunities
  • Usual office environment and manufacturing area. Local and out of state travel up to 25% (or 7 overnights per month) on average.
  • Office hours; 7-5 Mon-Fri, 45 hrs/week

Experience:
