Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support our pre-sale process, reporting to the Manager of Major Projects, Pre-Sale. Your role will involve reviewing project scopes, preparing estimates, and collaborating with internal and external teams to ensure accurate and competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Master Estimator: Maintain knowledge of our product line and generate accurate bills of materials and cost estimates.
2. Tech-Savvy: Use our draw-to-price software, ERP, and CRM platforms for precise costing and profit analysis.
3. Detail-Oriented: Perform quantity take-offs, prepare estimate packages, and review bid documents.
4. Relationship Builder: Develop relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
5. Collaborative Innovator: Work with teams to improve value engineering strategies.
6. Document Management: Maintain accurate drawing sets and revision logs.
7. Support Role: Assist with project submittals, client approvals, and status reports.
8. Record Keeping: Manage project records and archive documents.
9. Risk Assessment: Identify and communicate project risks.
10. Team Collaboration: Work effectively across departments for successful project execution.
