Job summary

HTU in Fairfax, VA is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator to support the project management team with materials negotiations, submittals, RFIs, and cost tracking.

You will assist in scheduling, estimating, setup and closeout, and will work closely with owners and engineers to ensure project success. This role offers hands-on PM experience in a growing company.

Qualifications

• Requires a degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Must be willing to travel and meet project needs on schedule.
• Interested in gaining entry-level project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist project management with negotiating and purchasing materials and maintain documents.
• Create submittals and RFIs for project workflows.
• Coordinate projects from start to finish, including assisting with estimating and closeout, and support field operations.
• Interact professionally with owners and engineers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Help schedule projects and crews to keep on track.

Your Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting the project management team with negotiating and purchasing materials, maintaining documents, and acting as a point of contact with owners, architects, and engineers.
• Creating submittals and RFIs.
• Coordinating projects from start to finish, including assisting with estimating, project setup and closeout, supporting field operations, and maintaining detailed job costs.
• Working professionally with owners and engineers.
• Assisting in scheduling projects and crews.
