About Jerritt Canyon

The Jerritt Canyon property contains 30,821 hectares of mining claims located in the mining-friendly state of Nevada. First Majestic acquired the Jerritt Canyon Gold Mine from Sprott Mining Inc. on April 30, 2021. In May 2023, operations were suspended to prioritize exploration and technical studies. Jerritt Canyon is now entering a new phase of evaluation and planning, requiring substantial technical support to advance the work necessary for a potential future restart of operations.

  • Coordinate construction activities and provide technical support during installation, commissioning, and startup.
  • Monitor project progress, costs, schedules, quality, and risks, and implement corrective actions when required.
  • Identify and manage project risks, including technical, operational, environmental, safety, schedule, and cost risks.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, progress reports, change orders, meeting minutes, and closeout documentation.
  • Manage project changes and evaluate their impact on scope, cost, schedule, and operational requirements.
  • Ensure projects comply with applicable federal, state/provincial, and local regulations, mining requirements, environmental permits, and company standards.
  • Incorporate health, safety, environmental, and sustainability requirements into project design and execution.
  • Participate in hazard assessments, constructability reviews, design reviews, and safety meetings.
