Job summary

A reputable engineering firm located in Virginia is looking for a Project Engineer to oversee the planning and coordinating of technical engineering aspects of projects. The successful candidate will uphold project standards, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations. Strong problem-solving, organization, and teamwork skills are vital, along with at least 2 years of construction management experience. PMP certification is a plus. The position is on-site in Danville, Virginia.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of construction management experience in estimating, operations and/or engineering required.
• Firm understanding of complex mathematical concepts.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is a plus.
• Experience with inventory control and process improvement.
• Strong time management and analytical skills.
• Firm understanding of complex mathematical concepts.
• Proven leadership skills.
• PMP or CAPM certification is a plus; OSHA 10/30 is required.

A Project Engineerwill oversee planning and coordinating technical engineering aspect ofthe project to make sure work conforms to project specifications, withinbudget and schedule. Their duties include upholding project standardsby researching compliance regulations, developing project implementationplans and adjusting specifications for elements of a project.
