Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Project Engineer in Dallas, TX on a contract basis with significant travel (up to 75%). The role focuses on managing technology or integration projects for fulfillment and distribution center designs, collaborating with vendors and customers, and applying advanced design approaches.

  • Direct management and responsibility for cumulative automation project budgets ranging from .5 million to 50 million.
  • Proven technical leadership for large-scale industrial engineering projects.
  • Demonstrated design and/or implementation with integrated automation solutions, such as complex material handling systems, high-speed packaging lines, and manufacturing lines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products: Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Highly proficient CAD skills; capable of independently developing an integrated automation layout.

The Project Engineer will manage technology or integration projects, successfully delivering solutions to meet project goals. Work Environment

This role involves extensive travel, with up to 75% of the time spent at installation sites throughout the United States. Typically, team members travel on Monday mornings, remain at the site throughout the week, and return home on Friday afternoons. While rare, some may choose to stay over the weekend. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into the company, travel to various states, and build a substantial internal network.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $65.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
